Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What days do you usually do estimates?
We usually do our estimates on Saturdays or during the week after 5:00pm.
Does Concrete Crack?
Yes, concrete is not flexible and in the north east climate the gorund heaves in the winter time, meaning the concrete needs somewhere to crack. For that reason we have specially reinforced designed concrete mixes prepared and delivered to us from the local concrete company. We then install the expansion and control joints to give a weak area for the concrete to crack and not be visable. It also gives the conrete room for the expansion and contraction due to weather changes.
What sets your company aside from others?
President Mike Sposato spends his off season (winter) traveling throughout the country taking training classes and getting certified to stay up to date with all the new products and developments on the market. The masonry business has evolved more than most people can imagine and Mike trains his whole crew on how to work with the new products to produce a more durable long lasting job.
Do you start a job and leave to do another one?
No, when we start on a project we will stay on that project until it is 100% completed, and the customer is fully satisfied with the work performed before we move onto our next job. In our field lots of companies out there have a reputation for starting multible projects at the same time and going back and forth taking alot longer then expected to finish. Our company dos not function that way you will not have that problem with us.
Are you fully Insured?
Yes, We are fully insured with property liability and workmans compansation for our employees. In addition, we are also state liscensed to be a home Improvement conctractor meaning that if a contractor is caught peforming work on your property, and not state liscensed the property owner and the contractor will recieve fines in the thousands of dollars. With us you will not have that issue.
Isn't all concrete work and masonry work the same, Should't I guide myself by pricing?
NO, They are all different procedures and products used for different situations. Sometimes its takes a lot of work to do a job right and make it last a lifetime and many times i see people guiding themselves by cheap prices only to end up calling us back within the next couple of years because thier project failed and the original contractor is no where to be found. In reality, they saved money because the contractor cut corners and did less work then should have been done. Repairs Majority of the time, cost the same price or more as orginally quoted because everything usually has to be torn down and rebuilt properly . Please research your conctractor with the better business bureau, check local references ect... before you make a decision because sometimes trying to save some money ends up costing you more in the long run!
